Mr. Michael D. Gallard joined the firm in 1978 following his graduation from the
University of Tulsa School of Law.  He is admitted to practice as a member of the
Oklahoma Bar Association and the United States District Court of Appeals, lOth Circuit,
as well as the Northern and Eastern Districts of the United States District Court. His
practice now is limited exclusively to workers’ compensation, where he has developed an
expertise in cross-examination of physicians. Mr. Gilliard has been a featured speaker in
workers’ compensation seminars for the Oklahoma Bar Association, the Workers’
Compensation Court Independent Medical Examiner Educational Conference, the
Oklahoma State Nursing Home Association, the National Business Institute, the Lorman
Business Association, and the University of Tulsa. Mr. Gilliard is also the past Chairman
(1993-1994) of the Oklahoma Bar Association, Workers’ Compensation Section. He is
particularly proud of the fact that during his tenure as President he established a
scholarship committee, which he chaired for several years. During his chairmanship the
committee awarded over $35,000.00 in scholarships to deserving Oklahoma high school
seniors.
